A miscarriage
In case of a miscarriage, your child has stopped growing and there is no heartbeat anymore. Sometimes this is discovered during an ultrasound and sometimes it can happen that you suddenly suffer from blood loss. Losing your child is a distressing and sad event. The life you envisioned suddenly changes, and this often comes with shifting emotions. Experiencing these emotions is normal and it is important that you allow for them to be there.
